About Perry

Perry CarrisonPerry Carrison is an executive coach. He uses the process of self-discovery to aid his clients in learning who they are…so they can lead their organizations more effectively. Living by the maxim, “Life is a debrief-able event,” Carrison helps his clients use their everyday lives as experiential development labs. This ability to use everyday life as an immediate learning tool came to Carrison though his long experience leading ropes courses and orienteering initiatives in the late 1980’s. In 1991, with two colleagues, he designed and implemented one of the first 360º assessment-based leadership development programs in the U.S. Besides inventories, their program used coaching to amplify their clients’ development work.

Early in 2000 during graduate study at Catholic University, Perry designed a development program for senior teams called Team Fitness. In it, leaders learn how to keep their senior team stoked, nourished, and fit…able to execute their plan, lead their organization, and champion their individual units.
